The SHEP program (Smallholder Horticulture Empowerment & Promotion) aims to transform agriculture into a market-oriented activity. From October 21 to 24, 2024, several staff members from Madagasikara Voakajy, along with representatives from local communities, had the opportunity to participate in training on this approach in Antananarivo.

October 25, 2024, marks another celebration of National Lemur Day, held under the theme "Lemurs, a National Treasure, a Global Pride". This day serves as a special occasion to remind us of the significance of these iconic animals of Madagascar and the essential role they play in our ecosystems.

At dawn , on Saturday, September 21, 2024, 8 rangers took on a major challenge by participating in the Wildlife Ranger Challenge, organized by Tusk. They covered 21 kilometers  by foot through the humid forests of the Mangabe Protected Area, each carrying a 22 kg backpack.  This protected area is habit to an iconic and endangered species, the Mantella auriantiaca, a small golden frog endemic to Madagascar.
