The team of Madagasikara Voakajy has taken the initiative to conserve the Baobab species called "Bozibe" in the North. It is one of Madagascar's endemic species under the scientific name “Baobab Adansonia Perrieri”. It is located in the DIANA and SAVA regions, particularly in the protected areas of Ankarana, Montagne d'Ambre, Loky Manambato, and outside of this zone. Madagasikara Voakajy's objective is to change its status from critically endangered to endangered and conserve it in its natural habitat.

An experimental fishing expedition was conducted by the Madagasikara Voakajy team in Lake Tseny, Tsaratanana I Commune, Port Bergé District. This initiative was sparked by the exchange of illegal nets used by local fishermen for regulated nets. The experimentation took place in July, October, and December 2023. Twenty local fishermen set up the new nets, which were approved by the Chief of the Fisheries and Blue Economy Division of the Port Bergé District and participated in the experimental session.
