Fauna and Flora International

Fauna and Flora international (FFI) is a UK-based biodiversity conservation charity and its vision is for a sustainable future for the planet, where biodiversity is effectively conserved by the people who live closest to it, supported by the global community. It operates through local partnerships and bases decisions on sound science. Projects focus on capacity building, protected areas and species that might otherwise be neglected.

Madagasikara Voakajy is the FFI partner organisation in Madagascar. Project work has focussed on the conservation of small forest fragments, flying foxes and the golden mantella frog in eastern Madagascar. FFI is also assisting Madagasikara Voakajy with its strategic planning process.
